Dornier MedTech Cycling for Health and the Environment

How do you help the planet, get people to move more and live healthier, and raise awareness of the needs of cycling traffic? The European continent takes on the mission every summer to encourage teams of riders to cycle to work, to the grocery, to anywhere they need to go. Team Dornier MedTech cycled 4,843 km (3,000+ miles) in 2017 in just three weeks to help the cause! This year, they are expanding their goal, and want to increase the number of miles cycled, get more colleagues to participate and win their local city championship! This will be the sixth year that our Wessling, Germany colleagues have cycled to help the planet.

“Stadtradeln” is a campaign created by Climate Alliance—the largest network of cities, municipalities and counties in Europe—dedicated to protecting the world’s climate. From May through September, citizens are asked to cycle for a period of three weeks at a time.
